Designed to hold two or more work pieces together where no holes exist. Clamping force is applied at edge of work. Spring loaded, plier actuated. The lack of a takeup screw makes it impossible to over-tighten and damage the work surfaces or the clamp. There are 4 standard sizes : 1/2 x 1/2", 1/2 x 1", 3/4 x 1/2" , 3/4 x 1". |

Thanks to Jim Irwin and company for the this quality item. In the midst of a ground up renovation of a ‘73 Datsun 240Z requiring sheet metal replacement. The unobtrusive profile of these side grip clamps will have the vice clamps parked on the sidelines for some innings!

The first dim is the thickness of material the unit will clamp and second is the length of the clamping arms to clamp the material.
The use a standard Cleco plier. Part numbers 12-01480, 12-03807, 12-10105, or 12-03756 will all work.
