Perfect.
This is an update to an earlier review. The metal stud of one of the mounts pulled loose allowing the panel to move. Im still rating the product high though. Theres only 4 mounts on my 172D and thats not enough to hold the weight of the panel and all the instruments. Make sure you can attach enough of these mounts to safely hold the weight of your panel.
These went into the panel of a 172D. Fit perfectly and worked perfectly.
Worked perfectly in replacing three shock mounts for the instrument panel in my Cessna 150G.
They replaced the ild and cracked ones in a 172.

They are magnetic. The threaded studs are made of steel.
This has 8-32 threads.
You will need a 8-32 threaded nut.
