These are top quality, new manufactured assemblies. They are designed, manufactu red, and proof tested to rigid FAA standards. All belts use proven lift to relea se style Davis metal to metal buckles. Push-to-release buckles are not used due to difficulties in releasing under emergency conditions. Aircraft quality alloys and 2-inch nylon webbing are used throughout. Belts are certified to FAA TSO-C2 2f. The 3" wide belt and 2" wide harness are of heavyduty nylon webbing. Harness has forged steel belt buckles permitting "one-stroke" release from both belt and harness. Shoulder Harness Assemblies are non-TSO'd, non-PMA'd appliances and shall not be used on type certificated aircraft. Stocked in Black. Other colors available. |

I really appreciate the military-style belt clasp mechanism as opposed to the standard type buckle (should I say 1968 automobile-style) that had a tendency to come unfastened, usually at the most inopportune moments: in turbulence as I reached down to tighten the belt. The military style is NOT going to come unfastened unless I want it to! Should be standard equipment on all aircraft. I like the wider belt material. The leather pad that protects ones stomach/lap from the buckle is a great addition. My only complaint would be the folded belt and stitching that holds the buckles on is a bit long and can interfere with tightening the lap belt. Minor complaint. I flew this morning in some rough Colorado thermals and was tightly secured to the seat knowing it was NOT going to come unlatched!
Great product but it doesn’t come with any installation hardware. The lap belt you can use the existing hardware, but you need a separate kit to be able to install the shoulder harness. Therefore, if you don’t already have the attaching hardware in the ceiling, this good product is useless. This hardware should be made available.
I just bought the belts, not the harness. They arrived very quickly. The workmanship is great. My only wish is that they were a little longer to accommodate a taller seat and larger than average person.
Ordered a set of Silver Gray harnesses but had to return them - the color was more of a violet. My account was credited without any problems.

These are priced and sold as a complete set (harness + belt) for one seat. For a 4 seat aircraft, you would need to order quantity 4.
PN 13-01200 Harness military #4 E2884-3 BLK is 75" from the tip of the single side to the tip of the shoulder side. PN 13-01100 Belt Only Military #4 BLK is 55" fully extended from tip to tip. Both of these part numbers make up one complete harness combination.
The bolt size is 5/16". Yes, it has one attach point for behind the seat.
These belts are 3 inches wide.
