In my not so humble opinion the RG series of Concorde batteries are the best available lead-acid General Aviation batteries. A great product at a fair (by aircraft standards) price. And, they are essentially maintenance free which is a blessing considering how hard it is to access many light aircraft batteries that are tucked away in obscure places.

I installed this battery (Concorde RG-35A) in my Mooney M20C on 2/18/2012. This week (7/25/2020) I started having problems. I attribute the longevity of this battery to a great design and the BatteryMinder which was always connected. I hope I see 8+ years on my next RG-35A. Highly recommended!

The battery that I purchased last year went bad and I replaced it with this one. I have filed a warranty claim to get reimbursed.

Cranks my IO-520 right up, even with 8 ft remote mount. Used to take three attempts to get the current flowing on my last battery. Also, fast delivery in good packaging.

The Concorde batteries are wonderful. I think the last one I had lasted at least 5 years and one of those years the plane was at another airport where I couldnt recharge it. Aircraft Spruce had the battery to me very quickly.

Great Battery. I keep this on the BatteryMinder and fly about 150 hours a year. The last battery started to turn the engine over a little slowly and once refused to after 5 years. I figure after 5 years a battery doesnt owe me anything. Replaced it and It fires up like its eager to go. No acid, no fumes, no trouble.

This was an easy swap for my old Concorde battery. It lasted 5 1/2 years, so I definitely got my money’s worth out of it.

I noticed the cranking speed is a little slower today when I fired up for a short flight. I was thinking I just replaced that battery. I popped the cover off to see the date I installed it and found out it was in July of 2014. Today is February of 2018. Time does fly.

I used to have to replace my battery every two years. Switched to Concorde and this last battery lasted 8 years!!!! This truly is the best battery on the market.

OK so far, just installed new RG-35A. Aircraft cranked right up. My last RG-35A lasted 3 years 2 months. I was a bit disappointed. I use a 2W solar charger when the airplane sits for awhile. I have car batteries that are guaranteed for 5 years and cost a lot less. Why do these aircraft batteries die after 2-3 years.

I installed this in 2012 on my 1968 Mooney M20C Ranger Im just replacing it now after 5 years of flawless service. Im replacing it because I noticed it getting slow and do not want to get caught at night at a small airport with no services. I do carry a portable power pack but never needed it t to jump the plane.

The newer line up of sealed batteries have proven to be very solid. Some planes tend to boil acid out sort of no-matter what and the source for corrosion. This battery takes care of that issue. I sell and recommend these batteries over the flooded cells with a very high success rate.

Phenomenal battery. No more battery box required for catching acid. No more fills and spills. I bought this battery in 2007 and its still working just fine at the end of 2016.

Best battery on the market!

On 8.5.08 I installed the RG-35 in our Cessna175 powered by a Franklin 220 hp at with 10.5 to one compression. Today 2.1.16 I am purchasing a new one, not because the battery is bad but it was dropped and broke the case. Before the Concord was installed I could count on replacing the Pink G-35 ever 24 months. This is a great battery.

Cost has shot up dramatically. I replaced a 3 year year old a Concord RG35AXC with a RG35A becuase it would not hold a charge. Even with a battery minder, starting power dropped was extremely week, several attempt to turn engine over, starter tested ok

Read numerous reviews of longevity of these. Battery tender and a heat blanket and two years almost to the day, Im looking for a better battery that doesnt feel like Im blowing my money for the equivalent of a cheap battery.

Replaced gill 35 in my c-210. Average three cranks and inadequate amperage to start engine. Needs a booster **hard to find away from home or hanger. Seven months old. Advice *Look elsewhere

Don’t believe the hype, the G-35 I bought will not hold a charge. Total time on battery is 8 hours. I’m a AP, IA and know a piece of junk when I see it.
