Recombinant Gas - The RGŪ Series are low resistance, valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries.
NOTE: This aircraft battery is not designed or intended for turbine aircraft engine starting applications. Warranty coverage applies to reciprocating aircraft engine starting, and standby / essential power installations. This Concorde Battery is TSO Approved under FAA TSO-C173a . TSO Approved authorizes Concorde Battery to produce a part to a Technical Standard Order. TSO Approved is both design and production approval of the battery.

Bought my second of these in order to euthanize the first after nearly eight years of faithful service. My load testing was starting to indicate that the previous battery was finally deteriorating. Kudos to Aircraft Spruce for their inventory management in not allowing these things to get old in their warehouse. The battery they shipped indicated that it had been manufactured just three months prior.

The RG24-15M has a vent.
The RG24-15A1 is not an aircraft battery. It is intended for installation on a generator used by the army. They are roughly the same dimensionally, but the RG24-15A1 has a different terminal, it is not FAA approved, etc.
Should be an RG24-11 or RG24-11M if you require the manifold.
