Recombinant Gas - The RGŪ Series are low resistance, valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries.

This battery replaced a five year old identical battery in an all too infrequently flown C-182. Installed easily and worked well. Arrived slightly undercharged (25.3 volts). Should have been checked before shipping. Had to charge before use.

Well finally had to get a new Concord battery. This one lasted 4.5 years., and that’s with it on a battery minder. The plane is kept in a hangar, but I fly mainly out in the west, so it does get HOT. Much better than that “pink” thing which would fail just out of warranty every time. Which makes this battery a much better buy!
