This Concorde Battery is TSO Approved under FAA TSO-C173a . TSO Approved authorizes Concorde Battery to produce a part to a Technical Standard Order. TSO Approved is both design and production approval of the battery.

My first Concorde battery lasted 8.5 years (kept on a BatteryMinder most of the time in a non-heated hanger). I did not replace on battery failure, it was still strong at 8.5 years! I wish all my avionics were this reliable.

Q: Will this Concorde RG24-16 battery fit a Beech F33A? What are the battery dimensions?

Yes, in the PMA eligibility list, it shows the following batteries are applicable to the F33A: RG-35A, RG-35AXC, and RG24-16. The battery drawing is available as a PDF download from the web page in the 'Overview' tab. It has all dimensions provided.

Q: Is an STC required to install this battery in a Cessna T-188C? And are we required to fill out a 337 if an STC is required?

You can get an STC direct from Concorde for that install. You would have to contact Concorde and fill out the STC form.

Q: Is the RG24-16 a direct replacement for RG24-15?

They are very close, but you would want to choose the correct battery for your application.

Q: What is the difference between the RG24-15 & the RG24-16?

They have different dimensions. The RG24-15 is slightly larger.

Q: This is listed for the T210N. However, my IA, who has since retired, installed a RG24 15. Its time for replacement Which is better?

The have the same electrical specs, but the RG24-16 is in a slightly smaller case.
