Active Noise Reduction (ANR) or Passive Noise Reduction (PNR)? The ANR headset can isolate, offset, and cancel environmental noise. Compared with conventional (PNR) headsets, the ANR model reduces background noise to provide a quieter, more comfortable flight. Bought for my wife four years ago and used about 25 times. The rubber around where the cord enters the ear piece cracked and fall apart. Very disappointed with the quality. I bought a cheaper ASA headset for myself and used it a lot more and it’s still working great.

Q: Do both headsets feature the MP3 jack?

Only the ANR version, part number 11-08095 comes with the MP3 jack included.

Q: Does this Powder Puff PNR headset have a built-in PTT?

This does not have a built in PTT but it will work with standard push to talk switches.
