Love it
Very comfortable, seem to work as good as my David clarks ive had for years, best bang for your buck.
the head set works great, no problems, comfortable,
great item, yet have to check it out, but it looks great, I will give a second review later.
My flight school recommends a 300 dollar headset, so I was unsure if this one is good enough - but I ordered it and I LOVE IT! I barely notice it on my head and the microphones covering feels really comfy and produces smooth voice sounds. Definetely recommend without doubt. Moreover, Aircraft Spruce is bang-up! I ordered on sunday from Indiana and it arrived on Wednesday in perfect packaging. Many thanks!
I'm a CFI. Needed an inexpensive headset quickly while away and picked up these at a pilot store. Been using them regularly a year and a half now and, surprisingly, they've held up fine. Metal is used where metal is needed, so they won't suddenly fall apart on a cold day. I'm hopping in and out of training airplanes several times each week, so they do see some use and abuse. For a first headset or a spare, they should be fine. The mono-stereo switching is a little strange, but that's the only gripe. I just ordered a second set for my plane.
The Headset is o.k. for general use. The mono-stereo switching is creating a lot of finger trouble Please provide this Headset in version without this disturbing gadget.
Had two of the four headsets I purchased stop working. Have tried to get in contact with the company to have them covered under warranty. Have left at lease 6 messages with no return contact. Not a bad headset for the money but horrible customer service. I will spend the extra money to get a headset with support. AAMRO Aviation
Got it today and tested on my plane. Side tone as well as incoming communication is extremely weak, could barely hear anything, and thats with the engine off. Mic sensitivity is also poor, vox turned all the way down but still couldnt get it to work acceptably. Returning it for a better set. Ymmv
