Nice well priced product
Installed, tested. Not yet flown though. Very well made. Work as advertised. Would be nice to have an L and R on the wingtip lights. Wasnt evident. Last, for this kind of money, and knowing how inexpensive 4-40 screws are and being relatively unavailable at normal fastener outlets, youd think Whelen would have included them.
2nd RV7 and again the same light kit. perfect choice of price and efficience

Per the manufacturer, there is not much difference between the Microburst II and III. We have added a spec sheet to the "Documents" tab on this web page for reference.
The Microburst series does NOT have TSO approval. If you want a certified product then you will need to look at the ORION series. We offer it on our website, keyword search "Whelen Orion" to locate them.
Yes, this will work fine on 12 volts.
These are LED units and do not require a power supply. They are installed using the aircraft power.
For whelen Microburst II (11-08475) a yellow wire is included which when connected will cause the lights to sync.
The Microburst series is for Daytime VFR only and they are not certified for night flight. If they want a product which will make them legal for night flight then they will need to look at the ORION series assemblies. The assemblies would be OR6501GE / OR6501RE / OR5001V.
1200 lumen for these as well.
No. These are 14v only.
