MC600 Series Universal Solid Wire Vernier Mixture Control Minor alteration (requires logbook entry only). FAA-PMA approved for many Cessna, Piper, Mooney, Maule and Stinson aircraft. The MC600 series mixture controls require a 3/4 inch instrument panel hole. MIXTURE CONTROL SOLID WIRE MC600-72
This is listed as working on a stinson 108. With enough work I guess you could make it work. It is much larger then the original stinson control. The part behind the control extends about 6 5/8 inch where it touches structure. The cable housing itself is larger in diameter. The housing does not fit a support bracket on the stinson. Aesthetically it is a very poor match to the stinson panel.
