Manifold pressure is one factor used to obtain correct power setting of the engine. The indicators are temp. and altitude compensated. Matte-white dials. 2-1/4" units are new mfg. 10"-50" Hg. Interchangeable with AN5770-1.

No, this unit is not FAA Approved.

Q: This gauge has two ports. One for V which goes to the engine. The other port marked P should this go to the static system or be left open?

Per the installation instructions, only the V port is being used.
