The H10-13S headset is a stereo version of the H10-13.4 headset, also with a straight cord and dual plugs. The H10-13S headset provides David Clark quality without the hot spots, clamping, or weight discomfort. It features a certified noise reduction rating of 23 dB and weighs only 16.5 oz. It features M-7A noise cancelling electret mic, and low profile volume controls with detent settings. The Super-Soft, Double-Foam Headpad will improve the comfort and “wearability” of all H10-series headsets. It is wider and more tapered with 60% more surface area in contact with the head to dissipate headset weight. Its unique center “hinge” actually lets the headpad “breathe” for greater comfort. It also eliminates irritation while wearing button-top baseball caps. The new Comfort-Gel Ear Seals have a patented undercut design and are 26% lighter and allow 30% more interior room for your ears, making for a quieter, more comfortable flight. |
Will definitely order more products through pilot shop. The headset arrived very quickly and exactly what it said it was. As for the headset haven’t used it a lot yet but the little I have used it it’s by far the best set I’ve ever used, that’s not saying a lot since I’ve only used a few pairs at flight schools. It’s very comfortable and can hear clearly. There are probably better sets out there that’s more expensive but I’m very content with these ones and not sure how they would be better. I’ll probably end up buying another set at some point.

DAVID CLARK H10-13S HEADSET DUAL PLUGS STEREO H10
Headset fits comfortably and sound quality is excellent. Good noise reduction.
Exelant product quiet, here radio communication well. Nice not over priced great for pilot just starting in the field.
This is a perfect product that is light and fits well! Spruce did a great job of getting it to me earlier than expected! I fly both open and closed canopy.
These to me are perfect for flying,.Ive been using David Clark ear muffs since the 70s at the gun range and I love the plain green aviators I just bought.... they are not as modern as some of the expensive sets but they function above what I expected ! the plane noise seems to be kept out and the comm between pilot and passengers is clear as a sharp bell.... I give them a 10/10.
Great headset, but the earcups have changed. If you are trying to fit it into a helmet designed for the David Clark H10, it wont fit!

Yes the H10-13S has a switch for mono and stereo operation.
No, you must order the headset bag separately. It can be ordered under our part number 11-00642.
Yes, the headset comes outfitted with ear seals, mic muff, and a headpad. It comes equipped with dual GA plugs commonly found on most fixed wing general aviation aircraft.
The H10-13.4 is mono and the H10-13S is stereo. That is the only difference. The difference between mono and stereo is in the number of channels (signals) used. Mono uses one, stereo uses more than one. In monaural sound one single channel is used. It can be reproduced through several speakers, but all speakers are still reproducing the same copy of the signal. In stereophonic sound more channels are used (typically two). You can use two different channels and make one feed one speaker and the second channel feed a second speaker (which is the most common stereo setup). This is used to create directionality, perspective, space.
Yes, this headset is equipped with Dual GA plugs, which will work great with the Icom headset adapter.
