The Gill Electric Company was founded by Mr. Lawrence Gill in 1920, in Redlands, California, where the factory remains today. At that time, Gill Electric manufactured lead-acid batteries for the automotive industry. During the war years, Gill manufactured batteries for military ground vehicles and aircraft; some of these batteries are still in production today. Gill Electric improved the drycharged process which provides a fresh charged product when the electrolyte is added. Gill has become the OEM "original equipment battery" for Raytheon, Cessna, LearJet, Mooney, Piper, Ayres, Airtractor, Maule, Scheizer and others in the aviation industry and Gill continues to be the industry's choice for quality battery products. |

Fine.
Great, speedy service. Arrived safe and sound. I always trust Aircraft Spruce.
Good service. Fast delivery. No issues
This is the battery I needed and it was the best price I could find. No hassle whatsoever ordering or receiving it. Enough of this review writing, Im going flying.
The perfect part for my aircraft
Reliable !
I have had my Mooney 252TSE for 13 years and have gone through only 2 batteries (G-242) in that time. After 13 years I am now buying a third one. The previous one I bought and installed 4/2012. That’s 6 1/2 years of regular usage. In the past year I haven’t flown much and had to charge it a couple of times before a flight but overall I’m happy with the performance. I wish they weren’t so expensive though. Kind of crazy beings a car battery is 1/5 the cost.
In our 185 and lasted 6 or 7 years. Not happy about the huge pricetag, but other companies charge the same
