Part# 13-00439
MFR Model# UNIV./11"

Overview

The Fuelhawk is clear lightweight and unbreakable. It's easy to use and gives an instant readout in gallons usable. No more guessing. These handy devices offer the answers to these very important questions:

  • How many gallons of usable fuel are still in
    the tank?
  • How much fuel can be added without going
    over gross weight?
  • Are the aircraft fuel gauges working and
    accurate?

Reviews

Without tabs in my wing fuel tanks, its quite difficult to estimate how much fuel remains on board without something like this. This is my second one, the first disappeared by rolling away unnoticed at a fuel stop. Thus, The Original Fuel Stop Part# 13-17631 is recommended. It also results in a more reproducible dip if adjusted to center the stick in the filler opening.

Better way to keep track of how much fuel is available for you. I did not follow the directions, and instead took measurement of my current fuel, add 1 gallon of fuel, measure, etc until topped off. Take measurement and see if your 1 gallon inch indication l is the correct division of full fuel. Having done it numerous times, it has been right on the money. I fly in a PA-38 (Tomahawk) and FOR ME, it is 1.5in/1 gallon. Try it out yourself, wont be disappointed!
