Without tabs in my wing fuel tanks, its quite difficult to estimate how much fuel remains on board without something like this. This is my second one, the first disappeared by rolling away unnoticed at a fuel stop. Thus, The Original Fuel Stop Part# 13-17631 is recommended. It also results in a more reproducible dip if adjusted to center the stick in the filler opening.
UNIVERSAL FUELHAWK FUEL GAUGE 11"
Excellent replacement for C-150 standard tanks.
Exactly what I needed and expected for refueling my experimental airplane. Calibration table can be made for any plane you fly.
Good quality. Used by Grumman Gang to measure fuel in Grumman tigers.
As described promptly shipped
Works as advertised......very simple to use
Better way to keep track of how much fuel is available for you. I did not follow the directions, and instead took measurement of my current fuel, add 1 gallon of fuel, measure, etc until topped off. Take measurement and see if your 1 gallon inch indication l is the correct division of full fuel. Having done it numerous times, it has been right on the money. I fly in a PA-38 (Tomahawk) and FOR ME, it is 1.5in/1 gallon. Try it out yourself, wont be disappointed!
