Aircraft Spruce ships everything quickly. I may upgrade to an ELT that someone pays attention to in the future, until then I am legal. I just bought my Garmin GDL-82 ADS-B from Spruce, Garmin was way behind in production. Customer service at Aircraft Spruce was extremely nice when I called and kept me updated until the unit shipped.

I would’ve given at six stars if someone could’ve figured out how to get to my ELT and have installed it for me! Over the backseat, through the panels, jam your arm back toward the empanage… I checked the box, but it did not come with an avionics installer. To answer the question, yes. It fit perfectly. It seems like the perfect replacement. The ELT checked fine. The price was right... At least as far as things in general aviation go. So, yes, buy this battery and make Merl happy.

Great battery - every two year replacement is a waste. I still have 10 year old batteries on my workbench that still read 14 volts. I use them as bench 12 volt power supply for testing stuff.

Easy to review this item. This is the battery that my ELT takes to be certified every two years. The battery fits as described. The date on the battery from Spruce has always exceeded the two year FAA replacement requirement. The price is competitive and the shipping is prompt even if not inexpensive.

kinda bummed that my brand new battery is already 2 months into its useful life. Would be nice if they shipped fresh product given that its dated.

I ordered this to replace my ELT battery that expired at the end of June 2020. The battery arrived promptly, installed without difficulty, was fully charged, and makes me legal again. Verysatisfied

Battery is fine used them for years in the old 121.5 ELTs. Dont let Spruce use USPS shipping at the moment (June 2020), took over two weeks to get to Michigan from Illinois.

Ordered in March Received Battery dated Feb 22. Lost a month.

The battery is fine. I ordered it and several other supplies in mid-May for my upcoming June 2019 annual inspection. This ELT battery has an expiration of May 2021. I would have preferred to receive a battery with a June 2021 expiration. I can appreciate selling older stock before newer stock, but if Aircraft Spruce was going to cut the margin this thin, I think they should have contacted me first and given me a chance to approve or reject.

I ordered my replacement battery in late January To install when mine expires in February and it has a December expiration date... a little disappointing that it isn’t for a full two years.
