Curiously, these parts arent available from Bose directly, so its great that A/S has them. Bose recommends replacing the ear cushions every 6 months. I got over a decade out of mine.

Fits Bose X aviation headset perfectly. It takes some patience to install them. I dont think they are gel, but my originals were not either. They are very comfortable. I just wore them for seven hours during my duty time across the Pacific.

These are Bose original ear cushions and fit nice .

These replacement ear cushions for my older Bose X work very nicely. Although the X is a backseat headset in my Husky and not heavily used, after a few years the cushions compress and the coating deteriorates. Now they look like new.

Genuine Bose part. Fit perfectly. Took a day or two to break in, then felt as good as ever.

While more expensive than the knock-offs, these are better quality. They are softer, seem to be quieter. Appear to be same as original equipment.

These are official Bose and seem to be of good quality, although no gel or anything like that. Original set seemed to be partly glued these didnt seem to need that. Be careful stretching these to fit over the ear cup edges. Start at the top or bottom. I was curious about the date code on the box, but couldnt decipher it. I called Bose and they told me these cushions were manufactured in 2008! Since the model X headset is about that old, they stopped producing the ear cushions then. They are selling off the remaining inventory.

Relatively easy to install. seems to be good quality but time will tell.

Cushions fit well, but this is probably the third set I have replaced in about 12 years. I fly around 150-200 hours per year. In each case, the surface of the ear cushion starts flaking off, leaving black bits stuck to the side of my face, prompting replacement. It would be nice if the material were of a higher, longer lasting quality.

Difficult to install but otherwise very nice.
