Fits my Bose X Aviation mic boom fine, although was unable to pull little rubber band over the cover. However it stays on fine without the rubber band.

Q: Can you tell me the difference between the two Bose windscreen replacement models? I use Bose A20 in an Ultralight and I have some background noise (cockpit noise) when I speak in the mike. Is it possible to use a better windscreen to avoid this background noise?

11-04846 is the primary Bose mic muff replacement. You can use others but 11-04846 has the best fit. Oregon Aero makes a large muff for Ultralight operations for Bose electric mics 11-10938.

Q: What is the difference between Bose 11-08747 and Bose 11-04846?

11-08747 is for use on Bose dynamic micrphones. 11-04846 is for use on the more common Bose electret microphone.
