It was the correct part

Excellent product, never have had a problem when installed correctly and torqued to specs.

Never had a problem in about 5 sets of Blo-Proof gaskets Ive replace on the planes Ive maintained. They seem solid and well designed. I know there are others I could try, but with the reliability Ive seen, I cant see jumping ship.

These gaskets sealed well. Had trouble with a few pesky leaks that kept coming back, but these gaskets seem to be holding.

Replaced the one that blew out!

The 77611 Bloproof gasket is great. I had a challenging surface with a slightly warped exhaust flange on the header side and rough pitted surface on the flange of the head. I was amazed it sealed without leaks. This 77611 gasket sealed where the Rapco RA77611 gasket leaked on the same head. It has been about 10 hours of flight time so far without leaks. This gasket has prevented removal of the head to resurface the exhaust flange so far. I highly recommend this gasket.

These exhaust gaskets when mated to flat exhaust manifolds and properly torqued do not leak, do not need to be re torqued like the 2 piece predecessor.
