I like these much better than the yellow ones. These ASA models have the bumps at the top that allow you to engage the two pins on the Curtis drain valves, and turn them at the top if you want. The yellow ones are smooth at the top so can only be used to push the valve straight up.

Tester for the fuel, screwdriver, for the cowl fasteners. Unscrew the housing and the screwdriver bit reverses, slotted and Phillips. Buy several, one in the headset bag, your car and the aircraft. Buy one more for that student pilot you meet that needs a helping hand that day.

Great tool for my preflight. Good fuel sampler and handy dual tip screwdriver.

I normally used a GAT jar for fuel test. I bought it to sample fuel in gasolator and this is an excellent tool to do the job.

Bought another one to replace the first one I had that I lost. Had it for two years and it worked just fine. My only gripe is that the sides could be cut in a bit more for the fuel drainers like on the Cherokees. Works fine for the wings but the one coming out of the engine you just cant quite get it under enough so some of the fuel runs down the outside and all over your hand.

The plastic point broke off about halfway down the first time I used it but still have enough left to sump my tanks without any issues.

The pin is flimsy plastic, and it gets stuck in the fuel drain and separates from the tube when it is removed from the Curtiss-type drain.
